Rod Sims
Rod is currently our head golf professional here at Mount Shasta Resort, but has been playing and teaching golf for many years.
Rod started teaching golf at Ancil Hoffman G.C. in 1975. He ran an active Junior Program and several of his former students have gone on to become Golf Professionals. Rod moved his way to Head Golf Professional at Dry Creek Ranch Golf Course near Lodi, CA where he remained for twenty-one years, from 1985 to 2007, until we snagged him up and brought him to Mt Shasta. Teaching golf to juniors and adults has always been a passion of his.
